Miniatures everywhere

This is my miniatures blog. I am keen to try and paint a single force, but in my heart I know that I am too fickle to do that, I change my mind on what I want to focus on at the drop of a hat. So in this blog I will post pictures on what I am working on, from whatever range. This will include scenery, scenic bases as well as miniatures of all shapes and sizes. I will try and keep it updated regularly so check back and I will try and post something new at least each week.

My own bases

I'll be honest, I am the first to go and buy funky resin bases for ease of use and the fact that they look great. However I have decided that I can model my own, so I should save some money for a change and actually do that. They dont need to be fancy, just different from a bit of sand and static grass.

Here is my latest attempts:

Welcome to my new war gaming hobby blog

Well this is the first post of my new blog. Unfortuntely I have had to use my iphone to take my pictures as I have misplaced my camera.

As per usual, I cannot stick to one project for long, so I am going to show you various projects I am working on.

First off, some Necron scarabs:

Secondly my Zoanthrope for my Hive Fleet Behemoth force:

Thirdly, my Doom of Malan'tai conversion:

I can't sculpt, but I am quite pleased with the outcome of this conversion. Especially when you consider that it is made from left overs from other kits so is technically free. I may have to reposition the head though as it looks a little low to me.
